What you’ll do: Provide commercially focused and pragmatic advice to our business clients on a wide range technology related matters and initiatives in a supportive and dynamic team environment. Work closely with PwC’s technology, business, risk and other key stakeholders, other lawyers in the OGC team, and with other firms across the PwC Network on cross-jurisdictional matters that involve the Network’s complex governance and legal structures. Undertake detailed procurement and contract analysis across a diverse range of technology and service engagements. You will consider how each arrangement contributes to the delivery of PwC’s professional services and assess risks across key areas such as intellectual property, data security, privacy and confidentiality. Apply a broad generalist perspective supported by expertise in intellectual property to effectively review contracts and identify risks associated with the procurement, deployment and use of new and emerging technologies. Draft, negotiate and advise on a wide range of commercial and technology agreements, ensuring that contractual terms align with PwC’s commercial objectives and compliance requirements. Contribute to the development and negotiation of strategic alliances, collaboration agreements and technology partnerships that underpin PwC’s business model and drive growth across the Network. Support the implementation of governance frameworks and policies that manage legal and operational risk in a technology-enabled environment. What we’re looking for: 4 years PQE, including relevant experience in technology, procurement and/or commercial contracting matters. Strong understanding of technology-related legal risks, including intellectual property, data protection, security, and third-party governance. You are skilled at assessing and articulating risk in context, helping the business make informed, risk-based commercial decisions.
